PADDOCK SPECIMEN LAKE
The Paddock lake is around 2
acres in size with 7 easily accessible swims. The lake has been stocked
with a good head of catfish from 20-40lb running up to and in excess of
80lb. Also present in the lake is a decent head of carp including
a good number over 20lb. The lake bed is made up of clay with depths
varying between 3ft and 9ft. The Paddock is better suited to the more
experienced angler.
RULES Strictly no litter to be left Fish from designated areas only Must have minimum of a 42" landing net Large padded unhooking mats must be used Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult Carp friendly non tether rigs only All carp must be returned to the water via a sling or zip mat Bait boats may be used sensibly No driving on the grass RULES IF SPECIFICALLY FISHING FOR CATS (Same as above plus the following) Minimum 15lb breaking strain line Single hook rig only, i.e. No trebles Minimum 20lb mono hook lengths or 40lb armored braid If using live baits they must be caught from the paddock lake only |
