THE PADDOCK SPECIMEN LAKE.
Todber Manors Paddock specimen lake opened early April 2004. It is approximately 2 acres in size with  7 wood chipped well spaced swims. Depths vary from 2-9ft. The lake holds about 50 carp from 15lb - 28lb, with a good head around the 20lb mark. The lake also holds Catfish to 38lb 8oz. There are no nuisance species in the lake, e.g bream and tench.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GUARANTEE A SWIM ON THIS LAKE YOU CAN DO SO BY BOOKING UP. TO DO THIS WE REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT WHEN BOOKING. WE ACCEPT CHEQUES OR CARD PAYMENTS OVER THE PHONE. ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT WE WILL SEND YOUR TICKETS OUT IN THE POST. PLEASE ALLOW 5 WORKING DAYS FOR CHEQUES TO CLEAR.

RULES.
  1. Strictly no litter to be left
  2. Fish from designated areas only
  3. Must have a minimum of a 42" landing net
  4. Large padded unhooking mats must be used
  5. No carp sacks.
  6. Only particles to be used are Dynamite baits ready prepared.
  7. No children under the age of 16 without prior arrangement
  8. No death rigs (down to the owners discretion)
  9. All carp must be returned to the water via a sling or zip mat.
RULES IF SPECIFICALLY FISHING FOR CATS.
(Same as above plus the following)
  1. Minimum 15lb breaking strain mainline.
  2. Single hook rigs only, i.e. no trebles.
  3. Minimum 20lb mono hook lengths or 40lb armored braid.
  4. If using live baits they must be caught from Paddock lake only.
