TODBER MANOR OPEN DAY A MASSIVE SUCCESS: Even though it rained pretty much all day and the wind went from strong to stronger, it didn't stop the crowds from pouring through the gates to see what Todber Manor had to offer. In fact a grand total of 860 people came through the gates, all of which got entered into our £5000 prize draw, got to see some of the countries leading anglers doing their stuff down at the lakes and had the chance to grab some great bargains from the tackle shop.
Todber Manor would like to thank every single person/company who supported the day, it was much appreciated and without them it wouldn't have been as great as it was.
We would also like to thank everyone who showed up on the day.
For more news on the day check out the Open day page.

The trophies consist of 1 for the overall winner, 1 for the runner up, 1 for each of the qualifier winners and 1 for the biggest fish over the whole competition. We at Todber would like give Nigel a big thank you for donating the trophies and getting involved in the competition.

SUCCESS WITH THE NET: (30th Jan 2007) This week we netted the Paddock specimen lake to thin out the huge amounts of silver fish present in the lake. We did this to great effect taking out in the region of 1500lb, mainly made up of  roach and rudd with the odd small carp. This should give the carp and catfish more space to grow on, not that they have done bad as these two 20lb + cats and 26lb carp proves.
